A Lifetime in Music

For more than 20 years, I’ve been shaping sound as a bassist, anchoring bands across multiple styles:

Liquid Germs (surf-infused instrumental punk), Oak’s Mary (heavy, riff-driven stoner rock), Operation Octopus (dynamic instrumental surf).

Solo Exploration

In 2022, I ventured into solo electronic production under the name Marek De Vann. This project is my playground—a space where I blend pulsating synths, textured beats, and rich atmospheres to craft something entirely my own.

Influences & Vision

My sound is shaped by pioneers like Kraftwerk, Boards of Canada, and Devo, yet it also carries the moody, dramatic essence of 70s Italian crime film scores. The result? A fusion of electronic innovation with a cinematic edge.

Each track is a story—an invitation to lose yourself in rhythm, melody, and memory.
